PRIVATE SESSION PHOTOGRAPHY
& VIDEOGRAPHY:
As
You Like It Productions is
available for a variety of private sessions, including senior (and
other) portraits, stallion shoots, facility promotions - and "Barn
Parties". Our experience in showing various breeds and
disciplines, as well as 15 years in the equine video and photography
business, give us
a broad-based knowledge with which to provide YOU, our customer, with
the photographs that you want.
FACILITY MARKETING:
Can
everyone in your town give a potential customer directions to
your farm?
Do you advertise in industry
publications (your regional or national breed/discipline magazine)?
Do you compete at regional or national events?
Does your training or boarding facility or your stallion have a waiting
list?
If you answer "welllllll" to the first, "yes" to the next two
questions,
and "I wish!" to the last, you might want to consider a farm or stock
promotional campaign.
Breeders and trainers
often receive long distance inquiries about
breeding
stock or farm facilities. You only
get one chance to make a
good first impression, so whether
on your
website or in print media, you want to be sure that the photographs you
use to advertise your stock or your
facility reflect the quality and pride you want to portray.
When
you contact As
You Like It Productions to assist you with your facility marketing, we will
discuss your
objectives and/or marketing
plan as they relate to a promotional shoot; we will schedule a trip to
your farm at an optimal time of year to obtain photographs
depicting
your operation and/or your
stock; and we will send you an photo session kit to assist you in
preparing for the shoot, along with a contract.
Our job is to prepare you thoroughly so that
you will be relaxed and enjoy your photo session. We've owned and
shown horses; we know what happens to those best laid plans. We
schedule enough time so that there's time to allow for the
unforeseen! And we encourage you to have at least one assistant
who is able
to help with the final prep moments or to run for a forgotten object
or, in the case of photographing multiple horses, to have the next
horse ready.
From your photography session,
you
will be provided with proofs from which to select the images that best
suit your purpose. Your selections will be cropped and
minor corrections (such as color or angle) made before being printed by
our professional lab. Additional "artistry" can be added (at
additional cost, of course).
Cost of private session packages vary
between
commercial
(stock promotion and facility marketing) and personal (portrait)
purpose. For all sessions, there is a booking fee of $150.00
which reserves your shoot date & a 2 hour shoot; allows for one
horse, with unlimited tack & clothing changes as well as variety
among traditional portrait, action and candid shots; provides you
with an online gallery from which to order prints; and includes travel
within 50 miles of Chatham, NY. This fee is
paid upon booking and is fully applied to your session cost and covers
the above. Additional horses and/or time and/or travel, any
prints ordered, as
well as any other items, such as Brag Books, low resolution CDs, hard
cover books, high resolution CDs and various usage rights add to this
base fee.
Sessions will be rescheduled in the case of
emergencies or inclement weather.
We may ask you to sign a model release which allows
us to use images from your shoot for marketing purposes.

of alteration, manipulation or reproduction, including copying
or saving, of digital image files is permitted.
Any unauthorized use of these images will be prosecuted to the full
extent of federal copyright laws.
