FARM
& STOCK PROMOTIONS:
Does
everyone in your town know where
your farm is and how to get there?
Do you advertise in industry
publications (your regional monthly
magazine
or tabloid; your breed/discipline magazine)?
Do you compete at regional or national shows?
Does your training or boarding facility or your stallion have a waiting
list?
If you answer "welllllll" to the first, "yes" to the next two
questions,
and "I wish!" to the last, you might want to consider a farm or stock
promotional campaign. If
a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth an
encyclopedia.
Breeders and trainers
often receive long distance inquiries about
breeding
stock or farm facilities. You only
get one chance to make a
good first impression.
As
You Like It Productions
will schedule a trip to your farm at an optimal time of year to obtain
video footage and photographs depicting your operation and/or your
stock.
Whether on your
website or in print media,
make sure the photographs you use to advertise your stock or your
facility reflect the quality and pride you want to portray. You
will be provided with proofs from which to select photographs which
will best suit your purpose. Your selections will be cropped and
minor corrections (such as color or angle) made before being printed by
our professional lab. Additional "artistry" can be added (at
additional cost, of course).
Interviews
with various employees can
be utilized as
voice-overs, as can "soundbites" from customers, to add impact to your
video. Footage will be edited at our studio,
incorporating photographs and
adding music* and effects to
polish
the product; your tape or DVD will packaged in a full plastic box with
custom-designed
label and sleeve. We can even add directions to your farm!
When a new
customer arrives, there will be an immediate comfort level, as s/he
will
recognize the layout of your farm, the people who work with you and
some
of your customers.
In addition to displaying attention-grabbing photographs in your
stabling area, a video playing at your tack
room
or in front of your stalls at a regional or national show is a superb
marketing tool. An inexpensive TV/DVD can be purchased or rented,
the DVD inserted and programmed to repeat all day long - and everyone
who walks by will be treated to an eye-catching, multi-media
advertisement!
How many
potential customers are "out
there"
who never ask the first question?
