    Video has opened the market for your horse to a far greater radius. With an attractive, high-quality tape of your sales animal(s), you can attract potential buyers from the next county, the next state, across the country or across the ocean!

    Although the tape of a class, test or individual go may serve as a sample of your horse's abilities, very often when a horse is for sale, you will want to illustrate a broader scope.

    However, there is more to marketing a horse than sending out an hour of raw footage taken by a sweating (or shivering) body holding a camcorder.  Carol Lynn Coronios, owner of As You Like It Productions and a respected writer, offers her views in Horse for Sale - The Art of Creating a Sale Video.

    As You Like It Productions is available to come to your facility to capture the individual character of your sale horse(s).  We can include your own footage (although we reserve the right to decline that which would detract from the quality of the final product) or show footage from another videographer (for copyright protection, you must provide us with written permission from this professional for us to use their footage; we give appropriate credit).  As we plan your video session, we discuss possible interviews with various employees which would be utilized as voice-overs, as can "soundbites" from customers - adding personal impact to your video.

    Footage will be edited at our studio, incorporating photographs (if desired; copyright permission required, as above) and adding music* and effects to polish the product; your tape or DVD will packaged in a full plastic box with custom-designed label (and sleeve, in the case of a tape).  We can even add directions to your farm!  When a new customer arrives, there will be an immediate comfort level, as s/he will recognize the layout of your farm, the people who work with you and some of your customers.  The resulting package will provide you with a professional marketing tool to assist in the sale of your horse(s).

    In addition to displaying attention-grabbing photographs in your stabling area, a video playing at your tack room or in front of your stalls at a regional or national show is a superb marketing tool.  An inexpensive TV/DVD can be purchased or rented, the DVD inserted and programmed to repeat all day long - and everyone who walks by will be treated to your eye-catching, multi-media marketing tool!
