We video all breeds and disciplines, contracting with show management annually. Please provide us with "leads" and references, if you would like us to provide services at a show you attend. 2008 calendar
Depending on the format of the show, we take orders two different ways. At most events, our horse show videography continues to offer "take it home" custom VHS tapes. At events where this is not feasible, your order is normally dubbed and shipped within 5 days. For shows where there are only individual goes (hunter/jumper, cutting, reining, rodeo, timed events), we tape all goes on master tapes. Customers may view their round(s) after each class and order the one(s) they want on either VHS or DVD. Orders are shipped Priority Mail within 5 days (barring unforeseen circumstances).Dressage shows are the
exception to the above practice for "individual
go" shows. For Dressage and for all rail shows,
taping
is done on a pre-order basis only, first come-first served.
Customers
place their orders at our conveniently located, staffed booth prior to
their class or test time. These orders are taped directly onto a
titled tape, which is ready for pick up after your last class.
Please
be aware that we do not have master tapes for these shows, so ordering
after you win is not an option.
We realize that many customers now depend more on DVD than VHS. Current technology does not allow for burning directly to DVD quickly enough to serve our customers at "rail shows". Many of you realize after watching your tapes that we have followed the previous class's victory pass and switched tapes just barely in time to catch you before your class is called to order. This would not be possible with DVDs. In 2006, we included the right to burn (or have burned) one copy of your tape, so that you may enjoy it on DVD. We can provide this service to you, at an small additional fee.
Our tapes and DVDs are presented with customized labels in a full plastic case with custom sleeve. Each also has a short introductory title with the name of the show.Permission for any or all of
these additional usages must be obtained in writing from As
You Like It Productions
and may incur additional charges. Think of it this way: you
would
like one of our videos to make money for you (advertising your
sale horse(s) or your stallion or training service) -
so you contract with
it for specific work (e.g., a sales tape to entice potential buyers or
a video clip on My Farm website to attract customers) for a specific duration (number of copies or period of time).
We show our appreciation to our show customers with a 20% discount on private sessions (photography or video)!
